In Short

• Responsible for managing prescription refills and medication prior authorizations.
• Address patient calls and inquiries through ZoomCare’s secure online medical portal.
• Work closely with a collaborative team to deliver prompt and efficient care.
• Assist in processing prescription refill requests.
• Support obtaining medication prior authorizations with insurance providers.
• Answer and triage incoming patient calls.
• Manage patient requests submitted through the online portal.
• Work with clinical staff to ensure accurate medication management.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current licensure/certification as a Medical Assistant.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical assistant role.
• Familiarity with prescription refills and administrative tasks in healthcare.
• Strong communication skills and ability to address patient concerns.
• Experience with electronic health records and patient portals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality standards.
