• Position as Certified Medical Assistant at Sentara Urgent Care.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or EMT Basic Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days from hire.
• Clinical and administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to assess situations and develop action plans.
• Effective inter-departmental interactions.
• Understanding of safety principles for patients and staff.
• Ability to follow system policies and procedures.
• Productive and efficient in daily operations.
• Utilization of safe and ethical resources.
