Overview

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse. The LPN functions under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner in the clinical setting, providing direct patient care and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

In Short

• Full-time position, Monday - Friday, evenings from 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.
• Functions under the supervision of an RN or LIP.
• Delivers direct patient care and manages workload with accuracy.
• Provides clinical support and teaching for patients and families.
• Adheres to legal and ethical nursing standards.
• Works in various settings including hospitals and private homes.
• Requires active LPN license in Virginia and BLS certification within 90 days.
• Offers a holistic approach to patient care.

Requirements

• Trade School Graduate required.
• Active LPN License in Virginia.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Experience in patient care and clinical support.
• Ability to implement nursing interventions and care plans.
• Strong customer service skills.
