Overview

Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring an Electrophysiology Specialist for the EP Lab. This is a Full Time, Day shift in Harrisonburg, VA, assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants.

In Short

• Full Time position in the EP Lab at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
• Work schedule includes three 12-hour shifts.
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures and device implants.
• Provide patient care and acquire pertinent information related to procedures.
• Smaller bedside procedures performed within the EP Lab.
• Collaborate with a team of cardiologists and surgeons.
• Training provided in the main hospital lab.
• Education requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade School Graduate or Bachelor Degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist or registry eligible required.
• 1 year of experience preferred in the EP lab.
• Experience with implanted devices preferred.
• Invasive procedure experience preferred.
