Overview

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to help maintain and grow sales for our large Strategic Accounts within the assigned geographical region by providing support to our North American Intrusion Sales Team and the highest level of customer service for our customers.

In Short

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned geographic region.
  • Work with the sales team to build positive long-term relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Manage leads received by phone, website, or events.
  • Assist with the maintenance of customer mailing lists and account information in Salesforce.com.
  • Resolve customer issues/complaints in collaboration with other departments.
  • Schedule training sessions and provide after-sales support for customers.
  • Handle inquiries and follow up with Order Management team as needed.
  • Assist with contract pricing forms and approvals.
  • Manage various sales programs and maintain sales maps.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the sales team.

Requirements

  • Required College or University Degree.
  • 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Highly motivated and self-disciplined.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Must be bilingual (English/French).
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM.
