Overview

The Site Service Warranty Manager will be responsible for managing warranty claims and ensuring effective communication between Wabtec and Indian Railways for locomotive maintenance and support.

In Short

  • Manage warranty claims for diesel locomotives.
  • Collaborate with Indian Railways personnel.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for locomotive failures.
  • Assist in raising warranty claims with detailed documentation.
  • Work with Wabtec's Freight Services Team.
  • Support the setup of warranty operations in Siliguri.
  • Guide staff in replacing failed parts under warranty.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Procedure Orders.
  • Participate in process audits and maintain QMS documentation.
  • Utilize MRP tools like Oracle or SAP for material issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • 10 years of experience in locomotive maintenance or warranty support.
  • Experience with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 QMS documentation.
  • Proficient in MS-Excel and MS-Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Self-directed and flexible.
  • Experience with Oracle or SAP is a plus.
