Technical Systems Manager - Remote

Overview

The Technical Systems Manager will be an on-site representative for Wabtec, implementing Positive Train Control systems on the Boké Railway, and will play a key role in the execution and delivery of system project business.

In Short

• Act as the primary technical interface between Wabtec technical teams.
• Develop product knowledge for implementing and troubleshooting PTC systems.
• Provide guidance to installation crews for accurate installations.
• Prepare and conduct technical training for field service and customer personnel.
• Assist with installation validation testing procedures.
• Maintain and configure IT equipment.
• Communicate technical details to stakeholders.
• Support training programs for employees.
• Assist customer installation crews with troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards during installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Project Management or related fields.
• Familiarity with railway systems and operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• Experience with project planning and management tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to travel and work long hours when necessary.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues.
