Overview

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract delivery, ensuring quality and performance standards are met while managing a team.

In Short

  • Responsible for all aspects of contract delivery including finance, quality, people, and client.
  • Manage team performance targets and ensure contract accuracy.
  • Identify training needs and manage performance effectively.
  • Co-ordinate resources for contracts in line with business requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge related to contract delivery.
  • Perform contract scoping exercises at customer sites.
  • Work with sales colleagues to maximize business opportunities.
  • Manage third-party relationships to support contract delivery.
  • Drive best practices and deliver training sessions.
  • Deputize for the Operations Manager as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in contract management and performance management.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Political awareness of organizations and government departments.
