Project Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

The Project Engineering Manager will act as a design authority for radio projects for Blue Light customers, managing all aspects of delivering projects on-time, within budget, and to a high quality.

• Define technical architecture and solutions for MPS Managed Radio Service.
• Produce detailed design and costing schedules for complex radio projects.
• Plan and project manage the delivery of solutions for MPS radio projects.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering continuous improvement.
• Lead customer requirement discussions from technical and operational perspectives.
• Develop new procedures and documentation for MPS radio systems.
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts effectively.
• Attend routine internal and customer-facing meetings.
• Work under strict security clearance requirements.
• Remote work available, but proximity to London is required for office meetings.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain or hold SC level UK National Security Vetting.
• Highly motivated and proactive individual.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies.
• Knowledge of Airwave and TEA2 code of practice.
• Understanding of Tetra Radio Technology.
• Knowledge of Digital & Analogue Radio Systems used by Blue Light Services.
