Overview

The Project Engineering Manager at Parsons will lead the execution of design projects while ensuring high-quality financial, cost, and schedule performance.

• Lead the Project Engineering team and ensure project deliverables meet targets.
• Support business execution cadence for the Engineering Team.
• Manage capture/proposal efforts and ensure compliant proposals.
• Act as a liaison with various sectors and promote Engineering Team support.
• Streamline processes to improve efficiency and agility.
• Anticipate future needs and provide proactive solutions.
• Provide coverage for leadership staff as needed.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Support mobilization and demobilization planning of engineering staff.

Requirements

• PE license in at least one state, with willingness to obtain others.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s in management is a plus.
• Experience in design, project, and program management.
• Strong background in Federal Government contracting processes.
• Proven ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Self-motivated with a track record of success.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Ability to organize outcomes in a matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of project and program delivery in the engineering sector.
