Engineering Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Engineering Project Manager will oversee IT Engineering efforts for the Department of the Air Force, managing a team to implement a new architecture and ensure successful project delivery.

• Manage IT Engineering projects for the DAF EITaaS.
• Lead a team of 10-15 engineers.
• Develop integrated master schedules and cyber roadmaps.
• Identify and manage continuous improvement projects.
• Support project cost management with finance teams.
• Direct and review team members' work.
• Achieve defined project milestones.
• Maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project Online.
• Provide quarterly recommendations for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with DAF requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• BA/BS with 5 years of experience or 10 years without a degree.
• Certifications: CAPM, PMP, or PMI-SP.
• 5 years of project management experience.
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Project.
• Experience managing project cost models.
• 1 year of experience supporting the Department of Defense.
• Experience developing WBS and project roadmaps.
• Excellent communication skills.
