Overview

The Senior Account Executive is a strategic and results-oriented professional responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on the procurement process. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise-level sales cycles and complex contract negotiations.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews to demonstrate value.
  • Act as the company’s expert on procurement processes.
  • Build relationships with procurement professionals.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless customer experience.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices.
  • Forecast sales and revenue projections.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience in a closing role.
  • 3+ years selling technical products to enterprise customers.
  • Experience focusing on procurement.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering preferred.
  • High proficiency in presentations.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • CRM experience with Salesforce.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-50% of the time.
