The Vice President of Business Development will lead efforts to grow revenue and market penetration for WNS Procurement, collaborating with a multi-disciplined team to implement strategies that drive success.

In Short

  • Support the North America Managing Director in executing the regional Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Develop and close revenue opportunities with C-level and VP-level executives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to generate demand and support growth initiatives.
  • Generate a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through various prospecting activities.
  • Demonstrate procurement service and product knowledge to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop compelling solution proposals.
  • Maintain and manage a robust pipeline with dependable revenue forecasts.
  • Achieve targets for pipeline coverage and closed revenue.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Travel an estimated 25-30% of the time.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development with a focus on procurement consulting and managed services.
  • Deep procurement knowledge, including Category Management and Procurement Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10-15 years of sales experience.
  • Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong executive presence and relationship development skills.
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
