In Short

• Craft highly scalable and intuitive APIs to rapidly deploy new products and services.
• Write Engineering Requirement Documents to take something from idea, to defined tasks, to implementation, to roll out and evaluating its success.
• Build test suites that help maintain product performance and reliability.
• Integrate product analytics to measure the success of the features launched.
• Experience in developing a Public API and webhook interface to process millions of messages.
• Knowledge of query language on top of Postgres and OpenSearch.
• Develop a production link shortening URL service with custom domains support.
• Participate in the entire project development process.
• Communicate effectively in a mostly-asynchronous manner.
• Work in a distributed team across the globe.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of web API architecture.
• Desire to be involved in the project development process.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in written English is a requirement.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Willingness to engage in a paid work trial for mutual assessment.
• Availability during team meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 2:30 pm GMT.
