Overview

As a Backend Software Engineer at Experian, you will help shape the digital experiences that power our HR lifecycle by architecting and maintaining scalable, secure backend services.

In Short

• Develop backend services using TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with frontend and platform teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Create Docker containers and support Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Develop infrastructure using AWS.
• Improve backend systems for performance and reliability.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB).
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding best practices.
• Contribute to observability through logging and monitoring tools.
• Support integration of headless CMS platforms.

Requirements

• Around 3 years of backend development experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with containerized environments and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS deployment.
• Background in data-driven systems using PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and monitoring tools.
• JavaScript experience.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and service architecture.
• Experience with Git workflows.
• Jenkins familiarity and CI troubleshooting.
