As a People & Culture Business Partner at Wave, you will play a vital role in aligning people strategies with business goals and fostering an inclusive culture while supporting the development and retention of high performers.

In Short

• Partner with non-technical teams to align people strategies with business goals.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support in employee relations.
• Deliver proactive HR support and ensure compliance.

• Guide employee exits and manage leaves of absence with care.
• Support fellow P&C team members as needed.
• 5 years of experience in an HR role is required.
• Post-secondary education in HR or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a People & Culture (or HR) role.
• Post-secondary education in HR or a related field.
• Understanding of HR best practices and Canadian labour laws.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities calmly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust.
