In Short

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional product teams to navigate user and business needs.
• Engaging in the creation and evolution of Wave's product strategy.
• Improving Wave’s user-centric design principles and design systems.
• Prioritizing discovery and delivery backlogs with Product Manager and Engineer Lead.
• Creating and executing research plans with the User Research Team.
• Gathering insights and developing hypotheses for valuable solutions.
• Mocking up and prototyping solutions while validating with users.
• Facilitating design reviews with stakeholders.
• Working transparently and sharing work for feedback.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional product design experience for mobile and web apps.
• Strong knowledge of experience and visual design fundamentals.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping.
• Exceptional communication skills and a self-starter attitude.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively on design projects.
• Awareness of current design trends and best practices.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience in Fintech is a plus.
