Overview

The Development Channel Account Manager (DevCAM) is responsible for promoting and selling cybersecurity products within the national territory to assigned partners, ensuring a positive experience with WatchGuard.

In Short

  • Work within the sales team to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Maintain and improve partnerships with channel partners.
  • Support partners with training and event support.
  • Forecast sales opportunities accurately.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to generate new business.
  • Ensure partner satisfaction and success.
  • Be knowledgeable about WatchGuard products and services.
  • Achieve territory quota and retention goals.
  • Self-manage and work remotely.
  • Engage in other assigned duties and projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in direct and indirect sales.
  • Experience with two-tier/channel sales ecosystem.
  • Preferred experience in network/cybersecurity.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in business, sales, or marketing.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to self-manage and work remotely.
  • History of sales excellence with national partner accounts.
  • Consistent plan development and quota achievement.
