Overview

As a Sales Manager at Vital Farms, you will be responsible for growing our grocery presence in the Southeast region, collaborating with various teams to drive positive sales results and build strong customer relationships.

In Short

  • Manage headquarter sales calls for key Southeast region customers and distributors.
  • Build and maintain rapport with key distributors and customers.
  • Create a strategic annual trade promotion calendar for each customer.
  • Track weekly consumption, distribution, pricing, and sales.
  • Develop and support a broker partner network.
  • Partner with marketing on impactful shopper programs.
  • Manage category reviews across dairy and other categories.
  • Attend trade shows to represent the brand.
  • Build strategic partnerships at key customer levels.
  • Manage Vital Farms entire portfolio of products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
  • 5+ years of grocery sales and account management experience.
  • Experience calling on MULO accounts in the Southeast U.S.
  • Established relationships with key retailer accounts.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Working knowledge of SPINS, IRI, Nielsen data platforms.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% for customer meetings.
  • Must live in the Southeast, preferably near Orlando, Tampa, or Charlotte.
  • Broker management experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
