Overview

The Oil & Gas Sales Specialist at Victaulic will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers in the mechanical contracting industry, providing solutions and educating them about Victaulic's products.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors and project owners.
  • Learn and educate customers about Victaulic's products and industry practices.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to create a business plan.
  • Manage project pursuits from inception to after-sale follow up.
  • Conduct training and demonstrations on product installations.
  • Travel to job sites and customer meetings as required.
  • Participate in local trade organizations and professional associations.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills in customer interactions.
  • Achieve sales goals and maximize sales potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the construction or mechanical industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various conditions.
  • Demonstrated success in building and nurturing relationships.
