Overview

We’re looking for a Commercial Account Executive (focusing on accounts < 2500) to support the next phase of our growth. You'll work alongside colleagues who have helped shape the success of companies such as Google, Okta, AWS, VMware, and more. This is a vital role within the Sales Organization to drive market adoption and scale.

In Short

  • Develop and execute sales strategies; build a territory from generating pipeline to closing opportunities to achieve revenue attainment against an assigned quota.
  • Evangelize our technology and educate customers on how the Veza platform can address their pain points and solve identity challenges.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships in the territory to drive both new business and expansion.
  • Identify and qualify leads that fit our ideal client profiles by direct prospecting, working with ecosystem partners, and industry involvement.
  • Get alignment to CISO and relevant stakeholders within enterprise accounts across the region, create champions from end users to executive decision makers.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience:
    • You will have 3+ years of consistent achievement and sales success with direct field sales experience within your territory.
    • Proven ability to develop and secure net new logos selling identity, security, or enterprise cloud software to enterprise companies.
    • Experience selling complex enterprise software, identity solutions, infrastructure management, security, and/or data analytics.
    • You are effective at utilizing partners, channels, and alliances to amplify market presence and drive adoption.
    • You have a measurable and substantiated track record in new business development and over achieving sales targets.
    • Experience in early stage companies, and ability to adapt quickly in high growth, fast-growing, and changing environments.
    • History of strategic selling and closing six figure to seven figure+ opportunities within accounts in your geography.
    • Experience selling to “C” suite, specifically CISOs; strong executive presence, excellent listening and problem solving skills.
    • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies is a plus.
  • Others:
    • Existing relationships with CISO / decision makers tied to IAM/PAM/IGA and grow new relationships within their region.
    • Ability to travel ~25%
