Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating sales, increasing revenue and profitability. This position establishes and develops client relationships as well as works with one or more recruiters to fulfill open job orders.

In Short

  • Establish and maintain target list developing client relationships.
  • Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, email, social media, and in-person meetings.
  • Generate new job orders weekly in line with performance objectives.
  • Manage new and open job orders from intake to fulfillment.
  • Utilize Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business.
  • Work with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to plan and deliver projects effectively.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Achieve results consistently, even under tough circumstances.
  • Communicate effectively with different audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 0 to 18 months technology sales or staffing experience required.
  • Active member of the IT community, networking groups a plus.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to make timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • Collaborative mindset to achieve shared goals.
  • Willingness to travel less than 5% of the time.
