International Consultant on Women’s Economic Empowerment - Remote

Overview

The International Consultant will support UN Women in developing and implementing strategies for women’s economic empowerment in Palestine, conducting analyses, and providing technical advice to enhance women's employability and entrepreneurship.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of economic opportunities for women in Palestine.
• Develop business models to enhance women's employment.
• Support the creation of a roadmap for operationalizing economic solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to contextualize programs.
• Provide technical advice based on collected data and evidence.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Facilitate consultations with key stakeholders.
• Identify legislative reforms to support women’s economic empowerment.
• Develop advocacy tools to mobilize partnerships.
• Work under the guidance of UN Women representatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Gender or related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of women’s economic empowerment.
• Experience in program design and evaluation.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
• Experience working with international organizations is a plus.
• Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
• Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in Palestine or the Arab region is desirable.
