National Consultant for Women's Economic Empowerment Project - Remote

Overview

The National Consultant will support UN Women’s Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) programme in Timor-Leste, focusing on enhancing women's economic engagement through capacity building and advocacy.

In Short

• Provide technical support for the WEE programme and initiatives.
• Build strategic partnerships and mobilize resources.
• Assist in capacity development for programme partners.
• Establish advocacy networks at the national level.
• Support rural women in influencing policies related to economic rights.
• Enhance the legislative environment for the weaving industry.

Requirements

• Timor-Leste National.
• Minimum Secondary Education; diploma in relevant fields is a plus.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in administrative or project support.
• Experience liaising with national counterparts and civil society.
• Familiarity with UN Agencies or international organizations is advantageous.
• Proficient in English and Tetum.
