Overview

The UN Women Evaluation Consultant will contribute to evaluations and corporate tasks to enhance accountability and learning on gender equality and women's empowerment.

• Conduct independent evaluations and syntheses meeting UNEG standards.
• Contribute to ongoing evaluations and rapid assessments.
• Ensure high professional standards in evaluations.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis tools.
• Prepare reports and briefing materials for stakeholders.
• Participate in knowledge management activities.
• Provide technical support for evaluation use.
• Develop knowledge products and conduct satisfaction surveys.
• Advise project/programme managers on evaluation use.
• Contribute to the development of evaluation methodologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in evaluation, social science, or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in evaluation.
• Experience in gender equality analytical work and programming.
• Experience working in international organizations is an asset.
• Fluency in English required; knowledge of another UN language desirable.
