Overview

The Programme Support Consultant will provide operational support and guidance for the Women’s Civil Society Organization (WCSO) Programme Unit, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in procurement services while working closely with various teams.

In Short

• Provide operational support for financial management of WCSO partners.
• Support procurement and contract management processes.
• Assist in maintaining financial trackers and expenditure monitoring.
• Coordinate workflow processes for the WCSO Programme Unit.
• Provide mentorship to WCSO staff on operations.
• Draft programme budgets for events and workshops.
• Participate in financial verification of reports.
• Support logistical and administrative tasks for the unit.
• Train staff on operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with UN Women’s financial rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or administrative support.
• Experience with web-based management systems and ERP.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is desirable.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to mentor and train staff.
• Experience working in the UN system is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
