Senior Director, Legal - Remote

Overview

The Senior Director, Legal is responsible for leading the legal strategies for the 501(c)(3) EF and the 501(c)(4) Energy Action Fund (EAF). This role has been newly created due to organizational needs. This individual works closely with EF and EAF staff across both organizations to provide the highest level of internal legal counsel and key leadership of enterprise risk management.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in California or Washington, D.C.
• Significant legal experience in corporate and nonprofit law.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Experience advising senior management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Collaborative and solutions-oriented leadership style.
