Overview

Twilio is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join our strategic sales team, responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities and building relationships to unlock the potential of Twilio’s communication platform.

In Short

  • Drive new business revenue by identifying and closing high-impact opportunities.
  • Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
  • Understand customer needs to position Twilio’s platform as a solution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Develop account plans and accurate sales forecasts to exceed targets.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about Twilio’s product suite and industry trends.
  • Represent Twilio at industry events to build pipeline and brand awareness.
  • Champion the voice of the customer for future product enhancements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or cloud communications.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving multi-million dollar deals.
  • Experience selling complex solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to develop tailored value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable navigating complex organizations and influencing teams.
  • Deep understanding of the sales cycle, including prospecting and closing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical background is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.
