Overview

As a Senior Collection Specialist at Turnitin, you will drive the efficiency, accuracy, and performance of global cash collection activities, taking ownership of complex customer accounts and resolving issues related to overdue balances and disputed billings.

In Short

• Lead cash collection activities for high-value global accounts.
• Perform detailed cash and customer account reconciliations.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex payment queries.
• Analyse AR aging and DSO performance.
• Engage with customers on disputed invoices.
• Conduct daily reviews of global bank accounts.
• Prepare month-end AR reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls surrounding cash application.
• Build strong relationships with regional teams.
• Support cross-functional AR transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven senior-level experience in cash collections.
• Advanced skills in cash allocation across multiple currencies.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and coach others.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is desirable.
• Understanding of global tax requirements.
• Experience in multinational SaaS businesses.
• Comfortable leading and training others.
