Senior Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Collections Specialist to contact customers and collect outstanding invoices while maintaining trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments.

In Short

• Contact customers to collect overdue payments
• Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with customers
• Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
• Support timely debt payments and resolve billing issues
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Assist with AR reporting and analysis
• Receivable performance review
• Reconcile customer accounts
• Assist in other AR / billing tasks
• Work independently and manage high volume of requests

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar role
• Good command of the English language
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel- vlookup, pivot table)
• Familiarity with billing procedures and collection techniques
• Comfortable working with targets
• Experience with using data to drive decision making
• Patience and ability to manage high volume of customer requests
• Problem-solving skills
