Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Collections Specialist will serve as the main point of contact for all collections-related inquiries, utilizing their understanding of invoices to clarify details and follow up with customers regarding unpaid invoices.

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding account status.
• Provide support for billing inquiries and payment issues.
• Utilize Salesforce and Zuora for payment issue resolution.
• Investigate historical data related to invoices and payments.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts and monitor aging accounts.
• Create and customize proforma invoices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment disputes.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end closing procedures.
• Assist with external audits.
• Proficiently use spreadsheets and ERP systems.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing collections role.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with Zuora/Salesforce is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
