Overview

Turnitin is seeking a disciplined and self-driven Sales Development Representative to generate and prospect sales opportunities in the North American market, focusing on the secondary education sector.

• Represent the Turnitin product portfolio and understand customer needs.
• Generate leads and build relationships with potential customers.
• Maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.
• Utilize SalesForce and other tools for lead generation.
• Identify best practices for lead generation activities.
• Set up product demonstrations for prospects.
• Report results to the sales manager.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Engage with warm prospects and find new sales opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with prospects and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in sales development.
• Experience in SaaS and/or Ed Tech preferred.
• Proficiency with SalesForce or similar CRM.
• C1 level English proficiency.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work solo and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
