Overview

This position is responsible for the strategic planning, productivity improvement, and effectiveness improvement of the Contracted Collections function for DaVita.

In Short

  • Lead a team ensuring timely resolution of unpaid or underpaid contracted claims.
  • Maximize cash yield while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of a large Collections function.
  • Collaborate with other Revenue Cycle functions to drive efficiency.
  • Manage recruitment, retention, and professional development of team members.
  • Utilize robotic process automation and AI to enhance collections processes.
  • Set long-term productivity roadmaps and goals.
  • Build a strong culture emphasizing compliance and teamwork.
  • Work closely with IT partners for continuous system improvements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to DaVita’s values and culture of belonging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MHA preferred.
  • Significant experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in performance management and team development.
  • Understanding of reimbursement and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ability to set and achieve strategic goals.
