Account Executive/Underwriter - Financial Institutions Property & Casualty - Remote

Overview

This role involves evaluating and analyzing financial and business risks while building relationships and negotiating with clients, agents, and brokers within the Financial Institutions Property & Casualty sector.

In Short

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Execute underwriting strategies to achieve profit and growth objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners and external agents/brokers.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities.
• Develop individual agency sales plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3-5 years of applicable underwriting experience.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Two years of underwriting or financial analysis experience.
