As Founding Head of Sales at Timely, you'll join us at a critical inflection point in our company's trajectory, responsible for developing and executing our go-to-market strategy and building our first dedicated sales team.

In Short

  • Lead all aspects of Timely’s sales process.
  • Build, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Own a modified quota to understand customers and train the team.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with education organizations.
  • Collaborate with School Success for smooth sales processes.
  • Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
  • Refine sales processes and methodologies for scale.
  • Structure and manage contract negotiations.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Serve as a senior leader shaping company strategy and culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in K-12 education sales leadership.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of K-12 district buying cycles.
  • History of closing complex, enterprise deals with $100K+ ACV.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellence in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
