Overview

The successful candidate will be a skilled and experienced multi-site HRBP who will be involved in the full remit of HR practices and processes within our Mecca venues business.

In Short

  • Support business needs by partnering with Mecca Venues Operations Leadership team.
  • Develop and deliver an effective people strategy to meet business objectives.
  • Contribute to the People & Culture and Mecca HR strategies.
  • Drive employee engagement through effective planning and action.
  • Provide coaching and support to operational teams.
  • Analyze key people metrics to identify trends and improve performance.
  • Support recruitment and development of talent within the Mecca estate.
  • Facilitate performance reviews and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Advise on recruitment processes reflective of company culture.
  • Deputise for the People Director when necessary.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of HR and employment law.
  • Experience in a retail, leisure or hospitality environment.
  • Background in multi-site or regional HR roles.
  • Experience in developing transformational people strategies.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and provide constructive feedback.
  • Solid relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Experience in a unionised environment is desirable.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable.
