Overview

The Manager, Sales - Automotive will lead Nielsen's go-to-market strategy for the Automotive vertical, selling audience measurement solutions to top U.S. advertisers while managing high-value accounts and mentoring a team of Account Executives.

In Short

  • Lead the sales strategy for the Automotive vertical.
  • Manage key accounts and enterprise deals from prospecting to close.
  • Recruit and coach a team of Account Executives.

  • Manage forecasting and pipeline development using Salesforce.
  • Ensure effective management of the sales funnel.
  • Act as the voice of the Automotive client within Nielsen.
  • Partner with various teams for consistent messaging and delivery.
  • Influence internal stakeholders with data-driven updates.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years in enterprise sales, preferably in data or media solutions.
  • Experience selling into Automotive accounts.
  • Proven player-coach in a hands-on sales role.
  • Experience exceeding quotas in high-value sales environments.
  • Consultative sales approach with insights and storytelling.
  • Adept at using modern sales tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator.
