Overview

The Store Manager position is responsible for providing the day-to-day leadership to the store and teammates, supporting Monro’s vision in becoming a leader for automotive and tire centers.

In Short

  • Develop sales and technical teammates to produce a consistent 5-star Guest experience.
  • Ensure sales goals are achieved through effective sales plans.
  • Introduce tire and service products to maximize sales and guest satisfaction.
  • Support teammates in establishing a productive sales environment.
  • Manage recruiting, hiring, training, and performance of teammates.
  • Control expenses through effective management of various costs.
  • Provide daily leadership to all positions within the store.
  • Work under the general direction of the District Manager.
  • Ensure a guest and team-focused mindset.
  • Mentor and coach teammates for their development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience in a retail/sales environment.
  • Proven ability to manage financial results while controlling costs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic algebra skills for calculations.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative in problem identification and solution.
  • Ability to mentor and develop teammates.
