General Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The General Service Technician role involves performing basic vehicle repairs and maintenance while delivering exceptional service to guests.

In Short

• Perform basic vehicle services and repairs according to company standards.
• Conduct tire services including removal, balancing, and installation.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance tasks.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process on every vehicle.
• Assist in inventory management and general store duties.
• Adhere to safety standards and governmental regulations.
• Maintain technical knowledge through required training.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper repairs.
• Utilize and maintain equipment safely.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training or equivalent experience required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR.
• Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
