Overview

The Staff Solutions Architect - Strategic is Temporal's primary customer-facing technical leader, responsible for guiding customers on the suitability of their applications for the Temporal platform.

In Short

• Help prospects determine application suitability for Temporal.
• Explain technical benefits and drawbacks of the Temporal platform.
• Position Temporal against alternative technologies.
• Create conditions for expanding production applications using Temporal.
• Partner with Account Executives on account planning.
• Maintain relationships with customer technical decision-makers.
• Travel expected to be 25-50%.

Requirements

• MUST live within commuting distance to NYC, NY OR Boston, MA.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Comfortable discussing distributed system technologies.
• Able to construct application prototypes.
• Conversant in production application operations.
• Can advise customers on architectural topics.
• Comfortable working with major cloud providers.
• Technical advisor to Sales Account Executives.
