Software Engineer, Nexus - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain significant portions of our backend functionality for highly scalable Nexus services, focusing on improving modularity, security, debugging, and fault isolation.

In Short

• Design and implement core backend service features for Nexus.
• Provide test coverage for unit, integration, and performance.
• Document design choices and operational knowledge.
• Provide service level logs and metrics for cloud service setup.
• Create alerts, dashboards, and runbooks for production.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a production environment with scalable distributed systems.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, multi-threading, and concurrency.
• 4+ years of experience developing customer-facing APIs and frameworks.
• Experience writing concurrent code in production with languages like Go or Java.
