Overview

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Meat & Poultry Specialist to join the Fresh Specialist team, working remotely while being within commuting distance of the Scotland area.

In Short

• Drive and deliver sales and margin growth in the Meat & Poultry category.
• Work closely with sales teams to maximize opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers and present product ranges.
• Participate in team meetings to train and develop sales knowledge.
• Maintain accurate sales administration and customer data using Salesforce.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Manage personal and career development with your line manager.
• Promote the Brakes chilled meat & poultry proposition.
• Assist with product knowledge and training for sales teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Account Management or Business Development.
• Knowledge of the meat industry is beneficial.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to perform market research and competitor analysis.
• Passion and enthusiasm for sales.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Tenacity to pursue new business opportunities.
• Experience using Salesforce is a plus.
• Willingness to demonstrate products to customers.
