Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic and results-oriented New Business Manager with a deep love for food and a strong background in the hospitality industry.

In Short

  • To win Commercial new business, with customers whose fresh food spend ranges from £250,000 -£1M via active prospecting.
  • To build cross functional relationships with prospect customers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets.
  • To liaise and influence your cross functional matrix team colleagues.
  • To work with the new business implementation team.
  • To work within the wider Sysco GB group.
  • To be a proactive member of the Fresh New Business Team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in new business development.
  • Superb customer relationship and rapport-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of structured solution selling and negotiation skills.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Results driven.
  • Good knowledge of the Sysco GB business and/or the Hospitality / Catering marketplace.
  • High energy levels and ability to perform in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficient with technology for presentations and evaluating tenders.
