Overview

As an Outside Sales Account Manager for SunSource, you will develop new business and manage existing customer relationships within your assigned territory, focusing on fluid power services and repairs.

In Short

  • Develop new business and manage existing accounts.
  • Create a sales plan with your manager.
  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting activities.
  • Make in-person sales calls to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams.
  • Utilize tools and CRM for planning and management.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Company vehicle provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-year technical degree preferred, especially in fluid power.
  • Fluid Power Certification preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience.
  • Experience with mobile hydraulic service/repair preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel and meet customers on-site.
