Overview

The Account Manager for Mechanical Products at Carotek will be responsible for executing sales strategies and building relationships with customers in the mechanical equipment sector across Central to Eastern South Carolina.

In Short

  • Execute sales strategy and initiate contact with customers.
  • Provide technical support and application advice on mechanical products.
  • Conduct daily in-person meetings across assigned territory.
  • Establish effective relationships with customers.
  • Review specifications and work closely with Inside Sales.
  • Grow territory by increasing account penetration and developing new accounts.
  • Maintain CRM database actively.
  • Participate in professional organizations.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time, primarily local.
  • Attend training sessions for products represented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business concentration preferred.
  • Four years of Outside Sales experience in a related industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to identify decision makers within organizations.
  • Professional demeanor with diverse individuals.
  • Valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record.
