Overview

The Community Engagement Manager will build and lead the Experiences host Community strategy in EMEA and APAC, implementing and innovating Community programs to engage hosts at scale.

In Short

  • Act as a bridge between the central Airbnb Community team and regional host Community.
  • Lead Community support, growth, and engagement initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives from conception to completion with measurable outcomes.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage new Community Leaders.
  • Design initiatives and content strategies to foster host engagement.
  • Organize and lead effective Community events, online and in-person.
  • Support the development and execution of Community programs.
  • Influence regional prioritization and process improvement.
  • Develop deep knowledge of assigned geographic markets.
  • Serve as a point of contact for local insights and feedback.

Requirements

  • Extensive Community experience and knowledge.
  • Ability to develop Community strategies.
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to innovate and test new methods for community engagement.
  • Experience in organizing events and community building.
  • Passion for fostering connections and learning among hosts.
  • Ability to report on Community health and advocate for regional needs.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and trends.
