Overview

The Public Sector Account Executive Role will play a crucial role in our sales organization, responsible for managing sales opportunities in the public sector and expanding customer relationships.

In Short

  • Manage the entire sales cycle in Federal accounts.
  • Qualify inbound leads and demonstrate product value.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to find new sales opportunities.
  • Evolve strategic account plans for existing Federal accounts.
  • Leverage relationships in State government for new business.
  • Collaborate with sales development resources and partners.
  • Work with solution engineering for successful product trials.
  • Use Salesforce and Clari for business forecasting.
  • Engage with customers via phone, email, and video conference.
  • Build and share sales team best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a B2G sales role, preferably in SaaS.
  • Experience selling technical products to technical buyers.
  • 3+ years of Federal Software sales experience.
  • Proven hunter mentality and self-starter attitude.
  • Strong channel and partner selling sophistication.
  • Expertise in Salesforce/CRM.
  • Proficiency in automated sales campaign tools.
  • Experience with tools for researching contracts and contacts.
