Overview

The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities in the home automation sector, working closely with architects and engineers to manage projects from inception to completion.

In Short

• Locates or proposes potential business opportunities.
• Identifies and develops company’s USPs and differentiators.
• Initiates calls, visits, and presentations to developers, architects, and the engineering community.
• Maintains a database of project opportunities.
• Manages project stages from identification/specification to receipt of order.
• Coordinates internal and external teams to develop project specifications and proposals.
• Analyzes architectural and engineering drawings/blueprints to create solution proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Business.
• 3-7 years of experience in home automation, building, construction, or related industries.
• Prior experience in project specification with architects/consultants.
• Experience managing commercial projects and working with key stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, networking, market mapping, and business analysis skills.
