Field Technician for Smart Home Solutions - Remote

Overview

Somfy is a global leader in drive and control technology for shutters, sun protection systems, and gates. We are looking for a Field Technician to enhance our external customer service team in the Schleswig-Holstein area, ideally residing in the Hamburg area.

In Short

• Perform commissioning and troubleshooting of Somfy Smart Home solutions.
• Provide telephone support to customers for technical inquiries.
• Independently qualify service requests technically.
• Plan deployments independently in coordination with internal teams.
• Record and communicate all relevant customer and order information as needed.
• Follow up on completed orders.
• Actively market service products.
• Support technical product management.
• Contribute to the expansion of the knowledge database.

Requirements

• Training and experience in electrical trades (electrician, electromechanic, or electronics technician).
• Experience in (radio) control technology in building management or shading systems is advantageous.
• Experience in technical field service.
• Proficient in common MS Office applications and CRM applications.
• Software and network knowledge.
• Good English language skills.
• Strong service orientation.
• Excellent self-organization.
• Willingness to travel beyond the assigned area, including possible multi-day trips within Germany.
