Field Technician - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Technician with a strong IT background and in-depth understanding of networking and cabling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing, terminating, and troubleshooting various types of cables, including Ethernet and fiber optics, to ensure optimal network performance.

In Short

• Install and configure Peppr's hardware solutions at restaurant sites.
• Design, install, test, and maintain cabling/wiring for hardware installations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and network connectivity issues.
• Provide on-site training to restaurant staff on installed systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network cabling and field technician roles.
• 3+ years of experience with computer networking, including LAN/WAN.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment.
